I’ve been to many Starbucks outlets and, honestly, the overall experience is always good—but this particular one stands out every single time. The coffee is fantastic, the space is cozy, and everything is just how you’d expect from Starbucks—but what truly sets this place apart is one of the team members. I don’t know his real name, but I fondly call him Abdul. He’s a young guy, and every time I visit—usually after a long day at work—he somehow manages to brighten my mood without fail. I know Starbucks is known for its warm customer service, but Abdul takes it to another level. He doesn’t just greet you with a smile; he remembers you. He knows what I like (I prefer dark coffee), he knows my husband’s preferences, and every time we walk in, it’s like he already knows what we need in that moment. I honestly don’t know how he does it—but it’s amazing. He’s thoughtful, observant, and genuinely kind. It’s rare to find someone who makes your regular coffee run feel like a personal experience. Abdul, you’re doing a wonderful job. And Starbucks, you’re doing something very right in the way you hire and train your people—this guy is an asset.
