A piece of my heart in Kolhapur – thank you, Starbucks I got used to Starbucks during my time studying in the USA, it was a comforting, familiar place on campus, always there during long study sessions and memorable conversations. So when I returned to my hometown Kolhapur, I was naturally excited to find a Starbucks here too. On one of my first swiggy/zomato orders, I ordered the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. It felt a little bland to me, so I called the store. The store manager, Shyam, was incredibly kind and immediately offered to replace the drink anytime during the next visit. The next day, barista Shivam went out of his way to make the drink just right. He let me taste it multiple times and made sure I was completely happy with it. I was genuinely impressed not just by their service, but by the kindness they showed. Since then, I’ve also ordered the Matcha Frappuccino a couple of times with special instructions online /offline. Each time, they’ve followed them perfectly. It might sound like a small thing, but to me, it’s huge because it shows how much they care about getting things right for their customers. For me, Starbucks is more than a coffee shop, it’s a place full of memories, a little bridge between my time in the USA and my life now. Every time I walk into a Starbucks, I feel like I’m drinking my memories, one sip at a time. And now, thanks to the Kolhapur team, those new memories are just as warm and special. Thank you, Shyam, Shivam, and the entire team for the kindness, the care, and for making Starbucks in Kolhapur (tarabai park) feel like home.
